Before you come
Do I need to book a table?
No. We always hold half the café for walk-ins, and the wait is rarely more than fifteen minutes. Bookings are handy for weekends and for groups of four or more.
Are dogs allowed?
Yes. Dogs are welcome in the courtyard and at the footpath tables, and there is always a water bowl and a jar of treats by the door.
Do you cater for vegan and gluten-free diets?
Yes. Vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free dishes are marked on the menu, and most dishes can be adapted. Our kitchen handles gluten, nuts and dairy, so we cannot guarantee any dish is allergen-free.
Can I book for a large group?
Online bookings are for up to eight people. For bigger groups, birthdays or private hire of the courtyard, call us on (03) 7010 4521 or send an email.
Is there parking nearby?
There is two-hour street parking on Gertrude Lane and the surrounding streets. The number 86 tram stops a two-minute walk away, and there are bike hoops out the front.
Do you have high chairs and space for prams?
We have four high chairs, a change table and plenty of room for prams in the courtyard. Babyccinos are on the house.
